Cromer has history

Cromer is your typical Victorian holiday destination with its Victorian grade II listed pier which officially opened in 1901. There had always been piers prior to 1901 but storms battered and broke them all until it was sensibly built in iron.

In the 1920s people flocked to Cromer for its healthy air. It was said that the Cromer air helped with breathing difficulties, especially for those who were overworked.
