Norfolk Is Full Of Ghosts, it's true.
Norfolk has quite a history with the supernatural!
There have been numerous sightings of ghosts on the Norfolk Broads and North Norfolk is one of the most haunted places in the UK.
Over the years these spooky sightings in Norfolk have attracted many ghost hunters. Luckily, 99% of ghost reports are usually not paranormal but this still leaves 1% unaccounted for. Britain's most famous ghost resides in Norfolk at Blickling Hall. Anne Boleyn who was ordered to be beheaded by Henry VIII is said to haunt Blickling Hall in her white, blood-stained dress carrying her head! Elsewhere in Norfolk in the city of Norwich, there is speculation that The Maids Head Hotel is haunted. This isn't too surprising considering it claims to be the oldest hotel in the UK. There have been sightings of the ghosts of deceased maids roaming the 13th-century building as well as a former mayor walking around the courtyard. If that isn't enough to spook you out then over to Norwich Castle where the ghost of Robert Kett has been frequently reported as well as a woman dressed in black who's been visiting since 1820. There's even a ghost who walks up and down Elm Hill and at night people have reported hearing footsteps when no one is about. Visitors to Norwich are often very curious about the city’s history with the supernatural and there are even Ghost Walk Tours available for people to see the spooky spots of Norwich.
Norfolk also has a history with strange weather phenomena with reports of fish raining down from the sky. In the Norfolk Fenlands residents have claimed they have returned to see their washing covered in black dust. There have also been several UFO sightings dating back to the early 1900s.
